Continuing with our growing South Pacific
series, we are pleased to announce the release of
Samoa, which consists of Independent
Samoa and the American territory of Samoa. Independent Samoa, formerly known
as Western Samoa, consists of the islands of Savai’I and Upolu Islands
(shown at 1:190,000 scale, along with an inset map of the capital, Apia. The
American Samoan islands of Tutuila (1:80,000 scale), Ofu & Olosega (1:46,000
scale), and Ta’u (1:53,300), are shown along with an inset map of the town
of Fagatogo, which serves as the capital. Samoa is east of Fiji, northeast
of Tonga, and northwest of the Cook Islands. As with our other maps of the
Pacific nations, Samoa is a laid-back, easy-going place, where relaxing in
de rigueur. Printed single-sided, on paper. |
